Our technicians are fully trained and capable of troubleshooting and repairing all equipment manufacturers’ equipment no matter what the makes and models.
The company trucks are fully stocked to allow technicians to repair most system breakdowns immediately with universal replacement parts we have researched and had success with over the years. We treat our techs like family and expect them to treat our customers the same way. Please allow LJI to be your trusted partner if you or your family needs any of the following services. We will do the job the only way that is the right way!
Majority of equipment breakdowns occur due to a lack of maintenance in the harshest environments, and usually at the worst times for home and business owners. Our techs have standard procedures to follow when troubleshooting HVAC equipment to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. LJI service call fees start out as low as $45. Our LJI 3E Club Members (for single-family residential clients) diagnostic fees are waived on any breakdown. Do not fret over not being a member, ask our techs about signing up to avoid the diagnostic fee and reap other benefits from our plans. If our office is closed, but you need service, it is no problem. Just call our office line that rolls to our dispatching hot-line and our on-call technician will be scheduled out to get the problem resolved.
We do charge an additional fee of $75/hour for emergency service to non-members of the 3E Club.
Upon completing the diagnostic process, LJI techs are instructed to go no further until a proper repair estimate is provided to the owner. The owner must give our technicians consent with a signature to approve the estimate before any part is ordered or repair work can be done. This allows homeowners complete control and transparency. Most repairs will be able to take place immediately upon approval. There may be a rare case in warranty equipment that OEM parts will need to be shipped for a warranty claim. We cross check all customers equipment for warranty before submitting a quote. If the system is under a manufacturer warranty, we will handle warranty claims for owners, regardless of whether we installed the equipment.
When it comes to installation practices LJI uses the best practices that are according to the manufacturer, local municipality and universal code standards. LJI is licensed by the state of Texas, fully insured and bonded, so the homeowner has zero worries if an accident should occur on their property. LJI is a Lennox Premier Dealer and highly recommends customers select a Lennox branded equipment. However, if owners or builders have a specific manufacturer brand selected we have access to most manufacturers product lines, including Trane/American Standard, Carrier, Daikin, ICP brands, and Rheem. LJI will file all warranties on new installs for owners. Every new system installed by LJI will be tested and commissioned appropriately to ensure safety and quality standards are met. LJI installations are classified in the following applications.
- Direct Replacements- This is a quick replacement that involves the same manufacturer brand, make, and model as the existing. Usually the fastest and cheapest option.
- New Construction: Typically overseen by a general contractor or home builder and inspections by local code officials.
- Retrofits: Complete new installation in an existing home a.k.a. “a cut in”
- Changeouts: Replacement of existing old/broken system in an existing home or building.

For years LJI has been the expert home and business owners rely on to solve airflow issues. We intend on keeping that as our legacy. Our technicians and installers alike are equipped and trained on maintaining proper airflow for each space and it’s designed equipment. Each home and system has different loads, capacities, and environments. Our products and services begin and end with airflow. Improper airflow can cause multiple issues on construction building materials, the life of the HVAC system, the quality of the air, poor comfort levels, and increased energy bills. If you or someone you know believes airflow is an issue, please call us today to schedule an airflow analysis.
Similar to airflow being a high priority, owners will need to look far and wide to find the quality and precision of our duct systems. Dylan has been thoroughly trained to design duct systems that ensure proper airflow that the space it is feeding. We source as much of our materials as possible from Texas and U.S. based companies. In fact, two of the major components are manufactured locally in our region of Texas. Our starting taps or branch takeoffs come from Houston sheet metal supplier M&M Supply.
All of our supply and return rectangular plenums are custom built by Schulenburg Sheet Metal. All plenums are made from 24 gauge thick sheet metal that is internally lined with 1.5″ John’s Manville acoustic liner. The only time these specs are not used is when we have engineered plans with detailed specs of materials that should be used, usually on commercial projects in new construction. All seams and joints in the duct system are sealed in a double seal application process to ensure an airtight duct system. Our installers are trained to install airtight gaskets at starting taps and plenum to unit connections, followed by Shurtape UL181 foil tape, and CCW181 duct mastic on top that hard cast the layers.
Similar to visiting a doctor and getting a checkup or a physical for your air conditioner. This service is for systems that seem to be working fine, and have not been looked at or worked on in more than 2 years. We strongly recommend customers at a minimum consider buying service agreements that are 2 times per year tune-ups and just seem to be most cost-effective. We offer tune-ups to those customers who may not care about having both operations checked. In our market tune-ups typically happen in the summer season, allowing us to check cooling operations.
